Madison interstate lanes reopen following dump truck crash

Madison interstate crash

MADISON (WKOW) -- All lanes of the northbound interstate near the High Crossing Boulevard exit in Madison are back open after a crash involving a dump truck.

A notification from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation said the crash occurred at 2:27 p.m. Friday.

DOT originally estimated the two left lanes would remain closed for one hour. However, they reopened just minutes later after emergency crews moved the vehicles involved onto the shoulder.

A dump truck could be seen on a traffic camera as being involved in the crash.

This is a developing story.
