Noah’s Ark closes after 2 employees test positive for COVID-19

WISCONSIN DELLS (WKOW) -- Noah’s Ark Water Park in the Wisconsin Dells closed due to two employees testing positive for COVID-19 Saturday.

According to a statement sent out by Noah's Ark on Saturday, the park would be closed until further notice as a precaution after management learned that two employees tested positive for COVID-19.

Bill Lentz, Vice President of Water Parks, Palace Entertainment said in a statement,

The first and foremost priority of Noah’s Ark is the health and safety of our Guests and Team Members. Since opening this summer, Noah’s Ark has implemented extensive safety protocols, including temperature checks for all Guests and Team Members, requiring face coverings, increased cleaning and disinfection protocols, promoting social distancing, and limiting attendance. We will work closely with the Sauk County Health Department and other experts on any additional recommendations at this time. The park will undergo a thorough cleaning and sanitization today, and will be closed until further notice.

Noah's Ark did not give a date on when they would be reopening but said that they would be providing more information on reopening as soon as possible.
