LaFleur sees Rodgers in Green Bay ‘for a really long time’

GREEN BAY (WKOW)-- Matt LaFleur addressed the media on Sunday ahead of the veterans reporting for practice on Monday. LaFleur cleared the air on Rodgers' future in Green Bay after drafting quarterback Jordan Love in the first round.

"Right now, most importantly, Aaron's our quarterback, and I see him here for a really long time," LaFleur said. "However long that is, I don't think anybody knows. Nothing's guaranteed in this league, but I feel so lucky to be able to work with him on a daily basis. I don't see that changing for a really long time."

This comes after Rodgers told the Ringer podcast that he believes the team is preparing to move on from him.

"Based on just the circumstances around everything," Rodgers told podcast host Kyle Brandy. "Just look at the facts. They traded up, they drafted him. I would say they like him, they want to play him.
