Average temps dip a little in August and we lose more than an hour of daylight.

High pressure moving in from Canada continues to cause a seasonal, dry trend.

But a cool front will advance from the Northern Plains bringing rain chances this afternoon.
Partly sunny with scattered showers and a few storms, mainly in the afternoon. A seasonal high in the upper 70s. Wind NW 5-10.

A few, spotty showers will linger in the overnight hours

Isolated showers still expected, mainly in the morning, as the system moves south of our region.

Temps dip with highs in the mid-70s. These temps are more typical of early September.
