Dry weather, cooler air mass in place for a bit

MADISON (WKOW) - Monday came with an early taste of fall-like temperatures, with highs well below average.

Highs will continue to be below average through mid-week.

Temperatures will gradually climb from the low 70s, to mid 70s, upper 70s by Wednesday. Seasonal, summer-like high temps return Thursday and continue through the weekend.

Dew point temperatures also drop a significant amount. Values will be in the upper 40s, low 50s through mid-week. A big change Saturday, moisture returns to the atmosphere ramping up humidity.

Along with the cooler weather, dry weather will also be dominant.

Partly to mostly sunny skies are expected through Friday. Chances of a few showers and storms return on Saturday and Sunday.
