UPDATE: All lanes are clear after rollover crash shuts down part of I-39 near Windsor

UPDATE (WKOW) - As of 6:00 a.m., DOT officials said all lanes are back open following the rollover crash.


UPDATE (WKOW) -- The northbound lanes of I-39 near Windsor have reopened following a rollover crash.

At 4:45 a.m., the southbound lanes were still closed.


WINDSOR (WKOW) -- Part of I-39 is shut down near Windsor because of a rollover crash early Friday morning, according to Wisconsin State Patrol.

According to Wisconsin DOT officials, the crash happened at 3:00 a.m. at mile marker 129.2. near Cuba Valley Road.

State Patrol officials tell 27 News that one vehicle is involved. EMS crews are on the scene, but the extent of injuries is not known at this time.

All lanes are closed in both directions, according to WisDOT. Authorities estimate the closure to last least two hours.
