LAFAYETTE COUNTY (WKOW) -- Officials in Lafayette County are asking for the public's help finding a missing teen.

The Sheriff's Office says 16-year-old Katherine Heimann was last seen on Friday at 2:30 a.m. in Gratiot.

They believe she is with 16-year-old Alexander Rogers from McHenry, Illinois.

Authorities say Rogers picked up Heimann from her home Friday morning. They don't believe she went against her will.

She didn’t appear to take many personal belongings with her, including her cell phone. Family and friends have reason to believe her safety will be more in jeopardy the longer that she is away from home.

The two may have ties to the Hayward, WI area.

Heimann is 5'3" 115 pounds with long blonde hair. Rogers is 6'2" 180 pounds with brown hair. They're in a black 2000 Ford Ranger with Illinois plates.

If you see them, call the Lafayette County Sheriff's Office at 608-776-4870.
