MADISON (WKOW) - A line of showers and storms pushed through southern Wisconsin Sunday afternoon into the evening. This was the first of two systems expected to bring storms to the region Sunday into Monday.
Gusty winds and hail will be the main concern with any stronger storm.
A cold front is expected to push through southern Wisconsin, initiating another round of showers and storms. Although, exact timing is uncertain. Best chances look to be early Monday morning or Monday afternoon. Activity should taper off Monday night as drier air moves in.
Humidity will continue through Monday, as well as warmer weather. High temperatures in the low-to-mid-80s are expected.
High pressure settles in over the region Tuesday, bringing quiet and calm weather. It will be less humid Tuesday, with 'cooler' temperatures. While temperatures will be 'cooler' than this weekend, they will still remain above the average high of 80 degrees.
Dry weather dominates the week. Heat and humidity return before the weekend.
