Police seek two men in connection with Lake Delton armed robberies

LAKE DELTON (WKOW) -- Police in Lake Delton are looking for two men in connection with two armed robberies that happened minutes apart.

The Lake Delton Police Department says officers were called to 1425 Wisconsin Dells Parkway around 3:10 p.m. on July 28.

Police released surveillance photos on Monday of the two men.

Police say the men went into the business with a firearm and demanded cash. They ran off before officers arrived.

Minutes later, as police were setting a perimeter to search for the suspects, they got a call about another armed robbery just down the street at 923 Wisconsin Dells Parkway.

The suspects had taken off by the time officers got to the second scene.

Based on witness descriptions, police say the same two men were behind this robbery.

In the second case, police say the suspects hit two people with the firearm. Both victims were treated at the scene by EMS workers and refused transfer to the hospital.
