Former Milwaukee police chief to retire, may sue after demotion

MILWAUKEE (WISN) -- Less than a week after being demoted, the former police chief in Milwaukee is retiring.

The lawyer for Alfonso Morales told WISN-TV Morales is also exploring the possibility of suing over his demotion.

Morales is waiting on a formal explanation from the city's Fire and Police Commission before going forward with a lawsuit.
