MADISON (WKOW) -- Teachers, parents and students are facing tough decisions this fall.

The excitement of going back to school is turning into anxiety for many.

Whether it's in-person instruction, online or a mix of both many teachers and parents say it will be a challenge.

Thursday on 27 News at 10, Emilee Fannon is Digging Deeper into whether or not teachers and parents feel prepared for a school year like no other. 

We take a look at school surveys that multiple districts used to gauge how people are feeling about the start of school.

And we talk to a teacher who’s welcoming back dozens of students in her classroom and about her biggest concerns.
