Middleton’s results from ‘Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over’ campaign


CITY OF MIDDLETON (WKOW) -- The Middleton Police Department made 18 arrested of suspected impaired drivers during the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign.

The focus of the campaign was to deter impaired driving, this ran between Dec. 18 and New Year's Day.

Officers also issued 8 speeding violations, 17 operating after revocation or suspension violations, 1 traffic sign or traffic light violation, 8 drug arrests, 3 felony arrest, and 1 warrant arrest during this time.

"While the holiday 'Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over' campaign lasts about two weeks, our officers work throughout the year to help make our roadways & communities as safe as possible for everyone,” Sergeant Quamme said.
