MADISON (WKOW) -- Former Badgers standout Victoria Pickett was selected by Kansas City 15th overall in the National Women's Soccer League Draft.
The two-time first-team All-Big Ten selection tallied five goals and 11 assists in her three seasons with the Badgers.
"We are very excited and proud for Victoria to be drafted by Kansas City," UW head coach Paula Wilkins said in a statement. "She has had an incredible career at Wisconsin for our soccer program, and we know she is prepared to have a successful professional soccer career. We are thrilled to watch her successes and wish her all the luck from the Badger soccer family."
