(WKOW) -- Thursday morning on Good Morning America, Michael Strahan has an exclusive interview with Jacob Blake. A Kenosha police officer shot Blake 7 times in August of last year, leaving Blake partially paralyzed. Blake told Strahan about the moments after he was shot.
"I kinda went limp and all I remember at that point was kinda leaning back, looking at my boys. I said, 'Daddy love you. No matter what.' I thought it was going to be the last… I thought it was going to be the last thing I say to them. Thank God it wasn't," said Blake.
Strahan also asks Blake about his reaction to the news that the officer who shot him would not face charges. Good Morning America airs at 7 a.m. right after Wake Up Wisconsin.
