DANE COUNTY (WKOW) -- As the COVID-19 vaccine becomes more widely available, Dane County community members are wondering how and when it'll be their turn to get the shots.
Earlier this week, other chapters of United Way said they could help get people on a COVID-19 vaccine list. But that is not the case in southern Wisconsin.
To clear up any confusion, United Way of Dane County put out a news release reminding people that at that time, Wisconsin does not have a vaccine registry or waiting list.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services remains the best place to keep tabs on vaccine developments.
While United Way's 211 number can't help you get on a vaccine list, it can help with other pandemic related problems including housing assistance, food bank information and crisis intervention.
