MADISON (WKOW) - Almost all of the counties covered by 27 News are under a winter weather advisory.
Our next round of snow will move in for the weekend; weather conditions Saturday morning through the early afternoon will be quiet but clouds will be increasing ahead of the snow. Once we hit the mid-afternoon, the snow should begin to fall and will continue through Sunday morning.

All of the counties shaded in purple will be under a winter weather advisory starting Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. The advisory will continue through Sunday morning; the heaviest snow will have tapered off by the morning hours on Sunday with lingering flurries possible through Sunday mid/late afternoon.

Snow totals by Sunday will range from 2-4" the farther northwest you live while 1-3" will be possible the farther southeast you live. You may need to break the shovel out but don't worry about exerting yourself - this should not be heavy, wet snow.
