DANE COUNTY (WKOW) -- Many medical workers and older people know they are eligible to get the coronavirus vaccine, but don't know where they can get it.
Different counties have different steps for requesting and getting the vaccine.
Medical workers classified as Tier 1a in Dane County are recommend by Public Health Madison & Dane County to reach out to their organization’s healthcare system about vaccine availability. And if you are not affiliated with a healthcare system, Public Health may be able to provide workers with vaccinations or match you with another vaccinator by filling out their survey.
For adults 65 and older in Dane County, your local healthcare provider may reach out to you, based on vaccine availability, according to Public Health. You can also visit your provider's website for more instructions.
Adults who are 65 and older in Dane County that don't have a local healthcare provider can fill out a survey and Public Health will match you with a vaccinator.
