MADISON (WKOW) -- The snow dumped 5-8 inches across southern WI, and now north winds will drive down cold air.

Winds will start off this evening at around 10-15 mph. This will blow around some snow, especially in rural areas. The good news is the winds should lighten up overnight. Lows will however get back into the single digits.

Highs on Wednesday will stay well below average with highs in the teens and partly sunny skies.

We have another strong low-pressure center we are watching for Saturday and Sunday that could bring more snow to the area.
