MADISON (WKOW) -- Concert halls aren't very pandemic-friendly, so this Valentine's Day local musicians offered micro-concerts instead.
Willy Street Chambers set up inside Garver Feed Mill in Madison on Sunday.
The musicians performed 10-minute, personal concerts for up to two people at a time.
"2020 we had to cancel our summer season, so we reimagined something new and different for COVID times and it turned out to be these micro-concerts," said artistic director Paran Amirinazari.
The players have been doing these mini concerts since November, with an extra weekend scheduled on Valentine's Day, which many took advantage of on Sunday.
"Perhaps it's not as large and grand as a concert hall might be, but as a personal experience, I enjoyed it a lot," said Bethany Jurewicz.
"I felt the same way. it felt very personalized, because it was us and the performers," Beny Collins said.
The concerts are pay what you can. All scheduled performances are sold out.
