MADISON (WKOW) - Expect a very mild, mostly sunny Saturday!
Temperatures will likely warm to the low 40s early this afternoon, with highs topping out in the mid-to-upper 40s.
Possibly, making it the warmest day of the year so far in Madison.
Clouds begin to increase ahead of the approaching low pressure system, expected to bring precipitation to parts of the state overnight into Sunday.
The northern half of the state will likely get snow, with parts of central Wisconsin seeing a mix of sorts. Light, scattered rain is likely for portions of our viewing area, mainly north of Madison.
The precipitation begins in the late overnight hours, and will end by early afternoon. Leaving the second half of Sunday dry, breezy and partly sunny.
The 7-day forecast is very quiet, with a decent amount of sunshine possible.
Highs continue to be well-above average, besides Monday. Monday's expected high will be seasonal though.
Values will rise close to 50 degrees by mid-week, ending very mild too.
