Spring-like weather sticks around through the forecast

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

MADISON (WKOW) - After a cool, breezy Tuesday, temps jump and stay March-like through mid-month.

Winds gusted to 30-35 mph on Tuesday from the southwest tracking over our thick snowpack, still around a half foot deep. This acted like a refrigerator to keep temps cooler than they would have been without snow on the ground.

Our winds shift from the northwest today and they'll be much lighter. The snow isn't as deep in central Wisconsin, meaning there won't be as much cool air spilling our way, actually allowing temps to climb!

Sunny and very mild with highs in the mid to upper 40s with light winds and no wind chills.

Clear and a bit cooler with temps in the low 20s.

Mostly sunny and seasonal as a dry cold front pushes through shifting our light winds from the Great Lakes dropping temps slightly.

Partly sunny and comfortable with temps in the low 40s.

Mostly sunny with temps in the low 40s again.

Mostly to partly sunny, mild but breezy with highs in the upper 40s.

Partly sunny and warm with a sprinkle possible and our first 50° of the year!

Partly sunny and warm again in the low to mid 50s with a light rain chance.
