MADISON (WKOW) - Sunday starts off a bit chilly, similar to yesterday. We end the weekend very mild, off to a warm start on Monday!
Sunday's skies will be mostly to partly sunny. Not as sunny as Saturday.
Temperatures will likely reach the low 40s by noon, mid-to-upper 40s as a high temperature by mid-late afternoon.
A bit of a breezy, southerly, south-easterly flow will help temps rise.
Speeds will range anywhere from 5 to 20 mph across the region.
Overnight, cloud cover will insulate the atmosphere. LOW temperatures will likely only drop to the mid-30s. This leaves for a warmer-than-average start to the day Monday.
Highs Monday are expected to be well above average, numbers in the 50s.
The warm-up only continues, with highs eventually hitting the 60s. Either highs in the 60s or just below are likely Tuesday and Wednesday.
Rain showers return mid-week, although drier weather hits by Friday.
