MADISON (WKOW) -- Dane County District Attorney Ismael Ozanne charged Sun Prairie native Anthony Young with first-degree reckless homicide Monday, for his alleged role in a February shooting.

Young was arrested by Sun Prairie police Mar. 4.

According to the criminal complaint, Young also faces charges of felony bail jumping and narcotic possession. Upon executing a search warrant at Young's home, investigators found evidence of MDMA, cocaine, heroin and a firearm.

Surveillance cameras and witness testimony place Young at the scene, in his home at the 200 block of Broadway Drive in Sun Prairie. According to the complaint, Young fired his weapon, a .40 pistol, through a glass storm door at the victim who was standing outside. The victim died shortly after being transported to UW Hospital.

If convicted, Young faces up to 60 years in prison. The court stipulated a cash bond of $100,000 for Young's release on bail.
