Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Georgia Republican, has emerged as a hardline far-right voice in Congress.

WASHINGTON (WKOW) -- Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) moved to adjourn the House of Representative Wednesday morning in an attempt to delay the passage of the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan.

According to ABC News, Greene's motion has been a common form of protest against the massive economic stimulus package. The motion failed in the Democrat-controlled chamber, and the final vote on the package is expected around 11:30 a.m. CST.

Watch for our livestream of the final vote on the bill on WKOW's Facebook page.
