WAVERLY, Iowa (KWWL) — The UnityPoint Clinic in Waverly welcomed two special patients.

112-year-old Esther Wittenburg and her 92-year-old son Virgil Bock were together to receive their doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The duo resides in Readlyn.

Wittenburg said her secret to a long life? Real potatoes and gravy!
