Badgers volleyball beats Florida to advance to NCAA semifinals


OMAHA, Neb. (WKOW) -- The top-ranked Badgers volleyball team took down No. 8-seeded Florida in five sets to advance to the NCAA semifinals. The Badgers win it 30-28, 18-25, 25-22, 18-25, 15-12.

Senior Molly Haggerty led Wisconsin with 17 kills. Dana Rettke added 16. Grace Loberg had 10. The Badgers had a season-high 87 digs. Lauren Barnes notched 28 digs to tie her career best.

Wisconsin will make its fourth overall appearance in the NCAA National Semifinals. The Badgers also advanced in 2000, 2013, and 2019.

Wisconsin advances to face Texas Thursday at 8:30 p.m. in the semifinals.
