Tornado siren sounds on Madison’s East Side after malfunction

MADISON (WKOW) -- A tornado siren near Buckeye Road on Madison's East Side went off Monday evening, though no severe weather was in the area.

Dane County Communications told 27 News a malfunction caused the siren to sound. Emergency management staff fixed the issue.

There is no storm threat Monday night.
