Classic Corvette plows into side of Monroe clinic

MONROE (WKOW) — A Monroe chiropractic clinic was heavily damaged Wednesday morning after a classic Corvette crashed through a wall.

Police say a 1977 Chevrolet Corvette, driven by Larry R. Mann, 69, of Winslow, Illinois, collided with the Onsrud Chiropractic Clinic, at 404 West 101/2 St. about 9:30 a.m.

There were patients in the building and some sustained minor injuries, according to police.

Mann was alone in the vehicle. The Monroe Building Inspector was called in to assess damages to the structure. The incident remains under investigation.
