Catch the Catfish River Festival in Stoughton this weekend

(WKOW) — A music event for the whole family kicks off Friday.

The Catfish River Festival in Stoughton is the only fundraiser for the Stoughton Opera House.  It features live music, food vendors, craft vendors and more.

The festival runs July 6 through July 8 in Stoughton’s Rotary Park outside the opera house.  It serves as the official kick-off to the 2018-2019 Stoughton Opera House season.  More than 80 upcoming shows will be announced at Catfish River Festival.

The free music weekend wraps up with fireworks Sunday at dusk.

Performers Madeline Fendrick and Brian Peck visited Wake Up Wisconsin Thursday morning to talk more about the festival and give us a sneak peek of their performance.  Check out the attached video clip for more.
