Breastfeeding group stops in Middleton during cross-country tour

MIDDLETON (WKOW) — The "Breast Express" stopped in Middleton Monday.

It’s a 40-foot long RV that houses a nursing and pumping suite.

The RV is driven by the organization Pumpspotting. It aims to support breastfeeding women, give lactation support and answer new mom’s questions.

The RV is traveling cross country.

"Our Mission with the bus is really just to gather breastfeeding women," said Pumpspotting founder, Amy VanHaren. "To really build a breastfeeding community to raise awareness about the importance of supporting the woman who breastfeed."

The "Breast Express" started its journey back in April in Boston.

It will end on August 8, 2018 in San Francisco for World Breastfeeding Week.
