Madison ‘Battle of the Badges’ flag football game raises money for charity

MADISON (WKOW) — Madison firefighters and police officers will compete against each other in a charity flag football game this weekend.

The "Battle of the Badges" flag football game will benefit Madison East High Athletics and help raise money for the Richard Garner Scholarship Fund.

The event is Sunday, August 4 at Breese Stevens Field in Madison. There’s a youth football clinic happening before the game, between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. and the game starts at 5:30 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public. All proceeds collected from concession sales will go to charity.
