Meet Shadow, our pet of the week!

(WKOW) — Meet Shadow, a 2-year-old black and white husky.

Right now, he lives at the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin; but he’s looking for a forever home!

Shadow is well-mannered with adults and cats but would do best in a home without any other dogs or small children.
Kaitie Swedlund with the humane society says Shadow would love a home that can provide him the exercise and training all Huskies crave and the love and affection Shadow desires. She says his favorite thing to do is hang out with someone outside and be able to both explore and spend time with someone.

If you think Shadow would be a good fit for your home, visit the Humane Society at 222 S. Arch St. in Janesville.

The Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin is also holding an adoption event at Farm and Fleet in Janesville from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on August 11. They will be talking about adopting, fostering and volunteering. There will also be an adoptable animal at the event.
