Police searching for man who robbed Madison bank Friday afternoon

MADISON (WKOW) — Madison police are investigating a robbery Friday afternoon at a Madison bank.

Police were called about 2 p.m. to the Home Savings Bank at 3762 East Washington Avenue for a report of a robbery.

Witness told police they did not see a weapon, but the robber demanded cash and fled with money.

The robber is described as a white male 5’6" to 5’8", 140 pounds, wearing gray hooded sweatshirt with hood up, dark pants.
