Thousands expected to attend entrepreneur conference in Madison

MADISON (WKOW) — Thousands of people from throughout the Midwest will be in Madison next week to attend a conference for entrepreneurs.

The Forward Festival is August 16 to August 23 throughout Madison.

This year marks the ninth year of the conference. People who attend can go to workshops focusing on everything from website creation to "Startup Stories from the World of Roller Derby." Organizers say there will also be plenty of opportunities to eat good food.
