Doctors to address eye health at symposium in Madison

MADISON (WKOW) — An event that gives you the chance to learn more about Macular Degeneration is happening in Madison.

The Macular Degeneration – Saving Sight Symposium will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 10 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Alliant Energy Center.

Experts will be presenting information about the common eye condition and talk about the latest treatments.

“We want to provide a venue for people to get their questions answered and have more interaction with doctors,” said Amy Wurf, Certified Low Vision Therapist at the Wisconsin Council of the Blind & Visually Impaired.
