Armed robbery at Madison AutoZone Store

MADISON (WKOW) — Madison Police are looking for a black man in his mid 30’s who they say robbed the AutoZone store on the 3500 block of East Washington Ave. at around 9 P.M. Tuesday night.

They said he was wearing a black ski mask, black jacket, and black shoes.

Police say the suspect ordered two store employees to a back room at gunpoint — and then forced them to open the safe.

Authorities say the suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, after fleeing from the area on foot.

No one was hurt during the robbery.

If you have any information about this robbery, contact the Madison Police Department, or call Madison Area Crime Stoppers.
