UPDATE: Madison police investigate bank robbery

UPDATE (WKOW) — Police are looking for a man who robbed the Associated Bank on Odana Road in Madison.

Officers describe the suspect as a white man, 22-24 years old, 180-200 lbs., with blonde hair and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark blue jeans and dark-colored shoes.

Police say the suspect went into the bank, passed a note to the teller and got away with cash.

They say he did not show or mention a weapon.

No one was hurt.


MADISON (WKOW) — Madison police are investigating after a reported bank robbery late Wednesday afternoon.

Dane County dispatch says it received a call for a robbery at the Associated Bank location at Odana Road and Whitney Way. Police left the bank at 6:04 p.m.

It’s not clear if anyone was hurt or what led up to the call for help.
