Madison resident shoots at home intruders, scares them away

MADISON (WKOW) — A Madison resident fired shots at intruders Tuesday night during an attempted robbery, according to the Madison Police Department.

Authorities said two suspects entered the home on the 600 block of North Carroll Street at about 10:35 p.m. The occupant confronted the intruders and armed themselves with a firearm. Shots were fired and the suspects ran away.

At this point, it’s unknown if the suspects were struck.
