MADISON (WKOW) — A 54-year-old Madison woman suffered minor injuries when teens, joyriding in a stolen car, blew a red light and slammed into her car Wednesday afternoon.

Nathaniel R. Douglas, 19, Madison; Isiah M. Ali, 17, Madison, a 16-year-old male and a 14-year-old male were arrested and face multiple charges.

All are part of a group that has gained media attention in recent months for an ongoing crime spree that includes numerous cars being stolen, according to a Madison Police Department incident report.

The car taken in this case – a 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan – was   parked on Regent Street last Friday when it went missing.

Found inside following the crash were a number of items that do not belong to the victim. They include: a knife, ski mask, gifts cards, and a Waunakee man’s credit cards. The Waunakee man recently had his home burglarized.

The crash happened about 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Fish Hatchery Rd. and Emil Street, according to police.

The teens took off running.

Madison police South District officers, joined by the South District Community Police Team, were quickly on the scene and were able to chase the foursome down, according to police.
