BELOIT (WKOW) — The Beloit International Film Festival (BIFF) begins this week, giving event-goers the chance to see more than 100 independent films.

This is the 14th time the festival has been held. Five theaters throughout Beloit show various films during the 10-day period.

Organizers say this year, they’re excited to show an Academy Award-nominated film.

Tuesday on Wake Up Wisconsin, festival directors shared a clip from a film called Guest Artist, starring Jeff Daniels. (See the attached video)

The festival starts on Friday, Feb. 22 and runs through March 3.
