Two arrested after gun was shown during argument at Walmart parking lot in Janesville

JANESVILLE (WKOW) — Two people were arrested in Janesville after one of them showed a gun during an argument in a Walmart parking lot Thursday night.

Police say around 6 p.m. officers were called to Walmart at 3800 Deerfield Drive for an armed subject complaint involving a firearm. They say someone reported a man yelling at a woman in the parking lot. The man began yelling at another bystander who was trying to intervene, and then he showed a gun during the argument, police say.

Officers found 20-year-old Anthony Kreyer and learned the argument started over a woman driving in the wrong direction in the parking lot.

Police say later during their investigation, officers found a .38 revolver, which belonged to a family member of Kreyer.

Kreyer was arrested on potential charges including disorderly conduct while armed, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia.

21-year-old Eleany Castro was also arrested for obstructing an officer.
