MADISON (WKOW) — The Department of Workforce Development is taking steps to help employers find the right person for the job.

Secretary Caleb Frostman hosted a roundtable at Madison College on Monday with employers in industries such as welding, construction and trucking. It was a chance for both sides to discuss how they can attract more workers to Wisconsin and then keep them here.

“There are more jobs than there are people to fill them,” said Frostman. “Other states have the same issue so we’re trying to be as creative as possible to win that war for talent.”
