Officer injured during arrest of Janesville man facing heroin charges

JANESVILLE (WKOW) — A 22-year-old Janesville man faces multiple heroin-related charges after an arrest and scuffle that injured one officer.

Jacob T. Bradley faces three felony charges and three misdemeanors related to heroin possession and resisting arrest, police say.

The Janesville Police Department Street Crimes Unit and Patrol served a search warrant about 7:30 p.m. Sunday at 944 Bedford.

That’s when Bradley allegedly resisted officers at the door of the residence and was eventually taken into custody, according to police.

Police say, an officer was injured due to Bradley resisting and was transported, treated and released from a local hospital.

Bradley was held at the Rock County Jail.

Delivery of Heroin (3 Counts) Felony
Possession with intent to deliver Heroin (1 Count) Felony
Causing injury to an officer (1 Count) Felony
Maintaining a drug trafficking vehicle (3 Counts) Felony
Possession of marijuana (1 Count) Misdemeanor
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (1 Count) Misdemeanor
