MADISON (WKOW) — Our Pet of the Week is a cat with a big heart and he’s ready to love on you!
On Friday, a 5-year-old Bo stopped by Wake Up Wisconsin from the Dane County Humane Society.
Bo has been with the humane society for an extended period of time, so he’s really hoping to get adopted soon!
One thing to note, he was diagnosed with FIV which stands for “feline immunodeficiency virus”.
Marissa DeGroot with the humane society says it’s scarier than it sounds. She says it’s a contagious lifelong disease that affects his immune system. What it means in practical terms is that he will need to be an indoor cat and ideally the only cat in your family.
