Madison police use city cameras to break up drug deal

MADISON (WKOW) — Madison police used city cameras to break up a drug deal between two teens on Friday night.

According to Madison Police Chief Mike Koval’s blog, a 17-year-old and 18-year-old man were in the middle of a drug deal around 7:10 p.m when police saw them on city cameras.

Police made contact with the two teens on the 100 block of West Mifflin Street and found cocaine on the 17-year-old as well as in the cooler he was sitting on, according to Koval’s blog.

The two teens were arrested.

The 17-year-old faces charges of party to a crime and a probation violation, while the 18-year-old faces a charge of possession of cocaine with intent to deliver
