Packers sitting starters, field shortened for preseason game in Winnipeg

WINNIPEG (WKOW) — The playing field will be shortened for the matchup between the Green Bay Packers and Oakland Raiders because of concerns about the field conditions at Investors Group Field in Winnipeg.

The CFL goalposts were removed and a patch of turf laid down for this game in the end zones. Both teams were concerned about those patches.

The teams will now be playing on an 80-yard field.

The Packers also announced 33 players will not play against the Raiders. They are:
