MADISON (WKOW) — In order for Milwaukee to host the Democratic National Convention it had to secure more than 15,000 hotel rooms near the Fiserv Forum, which they did. But that’s only one piece of the puzzle. Chairman of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin Martha Laning discusses what else is on the do-to list to pull off the event.

Plus, Governor Evers proposed the largest capital budget amount compared to his predecessor former governor Scott Walker. Building Commission member Rep. Mark Born (R-Beaver Dam) discusses why his caucus calls Evers spending amount “alarming.” The governor’s capital budget calls for $2.5 billion in new building projects around the state.
