Madison police investigate two instances of bullets into homes

MADISON (WKOW) — Madison police say two homes were hit by gunfire Tuesday.

According to news releases, one home was hit around 7:45 p.m. on the 2000-block of Baird Street. Police said the 18-year-old woman who lives there was not hurt.

Police are also investigating a second, separate instance where a 49-year-old woman came home to find her patio door had been shattered by a bullet.  This happened around 8:30 p.m. on Fordem Ave., near the intersection with E Johnson St.

Madison Police are asking you to contact them if you know anything about either of these situations.
