CLINTON (WKOW) — Multiple agencies, led by the Clinton Police Department executed a search warrant Monday at an apartment where a woman was shot in February.
Clinton police, with assistance from the Rock County Sheriff’s Department S.W.A.T team, executed two search warrants at 727 Milwaukee Street.
Police made one arrest for a probation violation and possession of marijuana, according to a Clinton police news release.
That’s the address where police say Jesus S Rangel, 18, had shot an 18-year-old woman on Feb. 18. The woman suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Rangel faces charges of Recklessly Endangering Safety, according to police.
The firearm was later discovered on the 300 block of Pleasant Street in a snowbank, according to police.
Because the incident involved the use of a firearm, additional agencies were in today’s search warrant included the Town of Turtle Police Department, Clinton Fire Department/ EMS, Town of Beloit Fire/EMS and MD-1 to ensure the safety of all parties.
