Rock County search warrant targets meth manufacturing

ROCK COUNTY (WKOW) — A Janesville man and woman were arrested Monday after authorities executed a search warrant in Rock County as part of an ongoing investigation into the manufacturing of methamphetamines.

James E. Bjork, 47, faces three felony charges related to the manufacture of meth.

Stacey R. Femrite-Utterberg, 45, also faces three meth-related charges, along with a felony charge of maintaining a drug trafficking premises and three misdemeanor counts of child neglect.

The Rock County SWAT Team with assistance from the DCI Clandestine Lab Team executed a search warrant about 11 a.m. Monday at 1101 S. County Highway D in Rock Township.

During the search of the residence on County Road D, numerous items associated with the “one pot” method of manufacturing methamphetamines were located along with less than a gram of methamphetamines.

Later that evening, Bjork and Femrite-Utterberg were taken into custody by members of the Special Investigations Unit at an unassociated address in Janesville.

The search warrant was executed as part of an ongoing investigation being conducted by the Rock County Special investigations Unit into the manufacturing of methamphetamines.
